Bridget Reilly Costello

Executive Director

Bridget joined Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck in 2009 as Summer Director and later became Executive Director in 2010. More than anything else, Bridget’s guardianship of her own special needs brother inspired her decision to pursue advocacy for individuals with special needs.

Proud mother of three and wife to Michael, a Veteran and Purple Heart recipient, Bridget volunteers at the V.A. Hospital in Northport. 20 years ago, Bridget donated a portion of her liver to save her baby born with a non-functioning liver, resulting in her two-decade membership of the Alpha 1 Foundation. Bridget has since traveled all over to speak with others facing this life-changing situation.

Bridget spent 30 years in the non-profit world, observing the best practices in several large non-profits. Her long term goal is bringing those best practices to Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck. Bridget is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), has served on the Board of Directors of the Brookhaven Disabilities Task Force since 2017, and is a member of the NYSCDA (New York State Camp Director’s Association) since 2016.

With great regard for her predecessors at Camp, Bridget hopes to carry on their legacy of continuous improvement.

Health Director

A lifelong resident of Center Moriches, Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck has been a part of Judy’s life for as long as she can remember. She received her nursing license in 1989 and has been working with the special needs population since the late 70’s. She has been with the Camp as their nurse and Health Director for over 20 years.

In 2015, Judy was awarded a Long Island Health Hero award by the Long Island Business Association for her work with the Camp.

Judy’s greatest joy in working with the Camp is seeing the positive impact on a camper and their family.

Judy is a single mother to a beautiful, bright and caring young woman and grandmother to the light of her life.
