As we wrap up 2021, which has felt like a roller coaster ride that derailed at times, we can’t help but be optimistic about what lays ahead.
There is a meme going around pointing out that 2022 sounds like 2020 too. If you turn to American Sign Language and translate the handshapes into 2022 it seems to say bird, peace, peace. Here at Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck, we have decided to adapt the bird of peace for 2022, just as we adapted the iconic phoenix on our grounds as the bird for 2020-2021.
It’s because of our volunteers, our boards, our families, our campers and countless other souls that we have been able to come through this pandemic and provide programing and respite for everyone. Just like the phoenix, we are continuing to rise and adapt to this changing landscape. We’re going to continue to ride on the wave of generosity from our community too propel us into 2022 and provide the same high quality programming we have come to be known for.
Our 2022 summer schedule will be coming out soon! We have 10 fun-filled weeks for you to choose from that will be a hybrid of day and overnight camp. Pick a week, pick overnight or day, and come join us for some unforgettable experiences!
In the meantime, we are working diligently to make summer camp happen again this summer and keep open our doors for respite days and social nights. As we all know all too well, this is all dependent on many factors. We’ll continue to keep you updated and will adapt accordingly.
